So it’s be a little while since I’ve updated. Ok, more like half a year. Thats what happens when you do a whole site yourself but try to please everyone. School starts soon for me, and then I guess I have to grow up. I’m looking at grad schools, but most don’t have the programs I want.

The dolls are coming in soon. How awesome is that! Very. Ok, um. I have to eat so….we’ll talk later folks.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! May you be blessed with happiness, love, & good health this year and every year after! Now if only we can get some new comics to read. If the admin stopped taking mini random vacations to Canada every other day we’d make progress. Only kidding…gotta keep Amethyst on her toes every now and then.

Anyone believe in making new year’s resolutions? If so would you like to share them? I’m interested. As for myself…I normally make a new year’s resolution to lose weight and every year I weigh more than the previous so I refuse to make that my new year’s resolution for ’09 and then hopefully I’ll lose weight LOL. I’ve decided to work on my relationship with my fiance, family, and friends as I have really drifted from them in the previous year with much going on. Maybe work on my attitude towards things too.

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. We’ve had so much going on trying to prepare for many upcoming things for the site and just general things in our lives. (Yes we have lives outside of Ninjabi) For those of you that celebrate Thanksgiving I hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving! My Thanksgiving was FANTABULOUS! I spent with my family and friends I love! It was great! We all had such a great time. I’m looking forward to the next couple of holidays coming. It’s definitely holiday season almost everyone is celebrating something at this time of year. Soon a new year will be upon us including my birthday! Woohoo! We were supposed to have a new comic up by now, but we’re experiencing some difficulties that seem to be getting in the way of progress here. I apologize for that. I also apologize that I have been MIA lately. Towards the end of the year tends to be really busy for most of us I’m sure also. I’ll be playing catch up a lot around now. Anyone want to share their holiday stories or plans? I’m all ears

Ah. Well ninjabi was on hiatus while I got some much needed rest and downtime. Seriously, I NEEDED a break from everything.

So I got the prototype in the mail today. Yeah, I’m stoked. She’s come a long way. If you forgot what my attempt at making the doll looked like, I’ve included that as well. More photos at Flickr!

Love it? Hate it?  What’s everyone think of the colors? I realize her hijab doesn’t match with the rest of her outfit, but does it really look that bad? I think it helps bring out her personality/quirkyness. If it was all purple it would kinda make her seem bland-er…if that makes sense?

Fall is here! It’s my other favorite season! The first is spring because its warm but not too hot and flowers start to bloom which are always pretty. I love the fall because its cool but not too cold and the leaves begin to change colors which is also pretty. Holiday season is approaching for all of us….some already started! Ramadan is still in session…soon after my engagement party will be here! Then Halloween will be shortly behind but before that will be AMETHYST’S BIRTHDAY! This is the time of year honestly time begins to really fly! Things have been slowing down lately in the forum, but I hope that doesn’t mean we lost all our dedicated fans. As for myself and Amethyst, we have not been sitting here twiddling our thumbs. We have been working on new things for the site as well as the comic. We are currently setting up the store since we plan on opening that in the near future. We are still waiting on all the merchandise to come in and coming up with more. We’ll have stickers, clothes, buttons, and more! So don’t worry our fellow Ninjabites we have not forgotten about you all. We are just working really hard for some cool stuff.

Also new comics should be coming soon so keep watch!

I hate public service.

They came to my door and rang the bell like TWENTY times waking me up. I already knew who it was because I had asked, but I went downstairs looking for my father, wondering why hadn’t he gotten the door, so I say, “hello?” and the guy at the door screams, “PUBLIC SERVICE METER READING I NEED YOU TO OPEN THE DOOR” and I’m like, what an idiot, I heard you the first million times. So I let him in. Then I’m all like might as well get dressed. I put my dress on BACKWARDS. And then when I tried to flip it over to the right way, I got stuck. I’m stuck in my dress.

I hate life.
I use a whole lot of commas.

update : Managed to get the dress on right way. Only took me 2 hours. I’m so full of win.
