Nice! I'm a Peace Corps volunteer in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. Women here wear a full veil called a melefa. Sometimes, when I'm visiting them in their homes, they'll let the veil slip back and, yes, melefa hair is pretty close to hijab hair.
